The three-star Gogd Citadel Hotel in Golpayegan is the second most spectacular clay and mud building in Iran, the date and time of its construction goes back to about four centuries ago. This citadel was located on the route of the famous Silk Road, and the existence of lower and upper classes in its building indicates the class system in the society of that day. Today, this historical building with modern facilities includes beautiful rooms with all facilities, traditional restaurant and tea house, wedding and wedding halls ready to host your ceremonies and celebrations. It should be said that on the north entrance door of the hotel, there was a part called Shah Neshin, which is now used as a special suite, and there was a water tank in this Shah Neshin, which whenever the door was set on fire by attackers, the guards extinguished the fire by emptying the water from the pool. It is interesting to know that on the entrance door of this hotel there are two doorknobs, the bigger one is called Mard Kob and the smaller one is called Zan Kob. Unlike other regions of Iran, it was located on the right side of Golpaigan Zan Kob.
